Dysart’s is a full service Dry Van carrier that has been operating officially since 1981, but the family has been involved in the transportation business since as early as the 1950’s. Brokerage
Dysart’s is an FMCSA authorized freight broker with a brokerage staff dedicated to the task of brokering both inbound and outbound freight. Loads to the Northeast, Midwest, and Southern regions of the country are often available. Loads being offered are posted each day on the DAT system, and are visible on the DAT screens at truckstops throughout the northeast. A list of available loads can also be obtained by contacting the brokerage staff by phone, fax, or email.
Reload Yard
Dysart’s features two separate reload yards located within a hundred yards from the main truckstop, as well as a large amount of yard space available for dropping trailers. The mulch reload yard is located in the same lot as the Service Center, and as many as 50 loads a day are shipped from there during the peak season. Many of these loads are available through our brokerage, and employees of Dysarts do all handling of the product. The lumber reload yard is located in the same lot as the warehouse, and loads are shipped from there every day to destinations all over the country. Warehouse
Dysart’s warehouse is a 60,000 square foot dry storage facility located adjacent to the truckstop, service center, and reload yards. The building currently houses both starch and paper products, and it has ten separate loading docks. About 60 loads a day move in and out of the warehouse.
